“Show me and I forget, teach me and I remember, involve me and I learn” This has been my motto when I was a student and this was my approach with my children when I was a teacher and now this is what I’m trying to promote, in my role as a Centre Director, in order to provide the best learning experience to our beloved children while they are at the nursery.
Sensory Play is crucial when it comes to children’s holistic development. Children should be given the opportunity to thrive in an environment that would nurture their curiosity and foster their creativity by helping them investigate and explore all possibilities without any undue restraints. Learning at Blossom revolves around inquisitive play which is reinforced through our Skygarden approach that is sensory based.
I hold a Master of Arts (MA) in English Studies from the University of Montreal (CANADA) and I have been in the field of education for the past 15 years, 6 of which in the Early Years sector both as a teacher and as a Head of Early Years.
I’m an outgoing person who loves to mingle with people and learn about different cultures. I fluently speak the 3 main languages offered at The Blossom Nursery: English, French and Arabic which gives me the opportunity to have a deeper understanding of cultural differences and how to best deal with both parents and staff in a multicultural setting.
With the help of my exceptional team of well-qualified educators along the support of our parent community, I’m confident we will be able to succeed in guiding the children through this journey of learning and discovery and to continue to ensure the excellent reputation that The Blossom Nursery has striven to build and maintain over the past few years.
