Nevena Bazalac

Deputy Manager

My first experience in working with children was during my Medical High School, Department for Physiotherapist. I discovered my love towards children and interest in learning more about child's development. This motivated me to enrol at the University of Belgrade, Faculty for Special Education and Rehabilitation. I graduated as top of my class with highest mark 10 on the final research project about Educating Children with Traumatic Brain Injuries. I continued my education with my Master studies in Special Education and Rehabilitation of Motor Impaired children. Since I was always eager to learn more and expand my knowledge I published three scientific papers so far: ● "Classwork of children with Traumatic Brain Injury" ● "Behavioural and Cognitive problems in Patients with Epilepsy" ● "Motor Hands' Ability in Preschool-Age Children" I worked in the Centre for Child Protection with children without parental guardians for 5 years. This was a life-changing experience that taught me that no matter what race, colour, nationality or severeness of disability, every child is a child and it needs our love! I started working at Babilou as an English speaking teacher for FS1 class and in few months offered to join the management team. I achieved the Cache Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Early Years Settings and working as a Deputy Manager at Palm Jumeirah Branch. I am a native Serbian speaker but I also speak English, Spanish and learning Arabic at the moment.
